MY SERVICES

NEURODIVERSITY COACHING

I offer 1:1 coaching to neurodivergent adults experiencing adversity/challenges in the workplace. Through my lived experience as a neurodivergent and highly sensitive person, I understand how challenging the workplace can be, and how the accumulative effects of stress and burnout can wreck havoc on the nervous system. I work efficiently with clients to build understanding of their neurodivergence, how this is impacting their work and personal life, and the effects on emotional and mental wellbeing. I then work with the client towards finding a way forwards towards a strong sense of self, self-esteem, and self-confidence.

SPEECH AND LANGUAGE ASSESSMENT & THERAPY

I am passionate about children's speech and language development and provide assessment and therapy and parent coaching online and face to face. The clinical areas I enjoy most are early years, speech sound disorders and developmental language disorder. I believe that communication is founded on connection, and my therapy approach is based on fun, play and connection. I use evidence based approaches in therapy including Parent-Child Interaction, Word Aware, SCERTS, Phonological Awareness, Cycles Approach, Core Vocabulary, Makaton, Shape Coding, Colourful Semantics, and neurodiversity affirming practice.

YOGA FOR EMOTIONAL REGULATION

I have trained with the Special Yoga school for teaching yoga to children with special needs. I am a Special Yoga Foundation practitioner and I offer 1:1 sessions and classes to teach asanas, massage and sound healing practices to support nervous system regulation. School can be a highly stressful environment for many children, and as a result children often struggle with emotional regulation. This is particularly stressful when children are not yet able to articulate their emotions. Yoga practices such as asanas , massage and mindfulness can be profoundly healing for children (and adults) as they teach children to tune into their bodies and to learn self-trust and to listen to what they need to feel calm.
